Photography, it’s just another way of making an image and art. It’s the play of light, just as in painting. I like beauty and my work is about beauty, about thinking; connecting to what moves and provokes us. Photography is light and I love light.
Photographs don’t capture the real world, or truth. Rather photographs capture only a selective part of the subject (within the frame). It’s a edited version of the real thing. It’s also a story telling device, without the trappings of plot. The stillness allows the viewer to create the story, a new version each time.
